Meet Nigeria’s Teacher Mentor of the month for September, Akindele Funmilayo from Royal
Pride School!
Mrs Akindele is a true leader with much difference. She ensures the training venue is set before the arrival TMs from other schools and always willing to give support to teacher mentors from other clusters.
She has also been promoted at training other teachers in her school. She has cascaded all the strategies she learnt in training to her teachers and her teachers are using them in their classroom.
Some of her teachers drew charts on expectations set in the class and hung in their classrooms.
